Hand Therapy

We now offer hand therapy at Synergy Healthworks Wagga Wagga. 

 

Upper Hand Rehab is a hand therapy service providing expert assessment and treatment of injuries or conditions you have with your hand, wrist or arm.  This includes injuries from work, sport or a recent surgery.

Louise Brown brings over a decades experience treating hand, wrist and arm injuries. She is an occupational therapist and an accredited hand therapist, awarded by the Australian Hand Therapy Association. She works closely with others involved, including your surgeon, GP or case manager to achieve the best outcome for you. 

​

Upper Hand Rehab provides high quality hand therapy services including:

  • Diagnosing and treating the cause of pain, weakness or stiffness in your hand, wrist & arm

  • Wound care and changing dressings after recent surgery or injury

  • Controlling swelling and scarring

  • Custom made strong, comfortable splints and waterproof casts to protect healing bones, tendons and ligaments

  • Rehabilitation after dislocations, fractures, amputation or other complex/traumatic injuries

  • Maximising progress and the fastest recovery for you.

Louise works Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays in our Wagga clinic.

 

Outside of work, Louise is kept busy with a young family, gardening and camping.
