YOGA IS BACK in 2023!
We are very excited to welcome 2 fully qualified yoga instructors, Naomi and Marta to the Synergy Healthworks team.
Naomi McMullen has a passion for yoga and began practising in the 1990’s. She is a qualified Vinyasa Flow Yoga Level 1 Instructor having completed her 350-hours Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) with Yoga Trinity in 2021, and is a current Member of Yoga Australia.
Naomi’s mission is to ensure her classes are accessible and adaptable and meets the needs of all individuals from beginners to advanced. Naomi K Yoga Flow offers a safe, welcoming and inspiring environment bringing people of the local community together.
“Yoga is a journey of the self, through the self, to the self.” The Bhagavad Gita.
Naomi teaches Vinyasa Yoga at Synergy Healthworks on Tuesdays 9.30am.
Marta has been practicing yoga for almost a decade and it was during the pandemic when she realised how much yoga meant for her physical and mental health. From one to two classes a week, yoga became a daily practice and in 2022 she completed her Level 1 (350 hours) Vinyasa Flow Yoga Teacher training with Yoga Trinity. Marta has also been a group exercise instructor and has taught spin since 2014. Marta combines her passion for yoga, exercise and health with her passion for veterinary sciences and university education. Marta has been a veterinarian since 2000, and has dedicated her professional veterinary career to research and tertiary education in epidemiology and public health. Marta teaches dynamic Vinyasa Flow at different levels and uses her science background to inform her teaching. Through her yoga teaching she hopes to support others’ physical and mental wellbeing.
Marta teaches Vinyasa yoga classes in our beautiful sun lit studio that over looks the Murrumbidgee Turf Club on Fridays at 6am.
Vinyasa flow yoga is a dynamic flow connected by the breath. Vinyasa yoga classes are fun and will rejuvenate the body.
