Accredited Exercise Physiologist
Bachelor of Clinical Exercise Physiology (Honours)

Steph is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist. She graduated with a Bachelor of Clinical Exercise Physiology with honours at the University of Queensland. Steph was raised in Brisbane and has spent the past year working as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist at a state wide disability association based in Brisbane. Steph recently moved to Wagga with her partner and dog and she is loving what Wagga has to offer! 

 

With early specialisation in neurological rehabilitation, prescription and programming, Steph has undergone additional training through Spinal Cord injuries Australia to enhance her ability to deliver specialised services for individuals with spinal cord Injuries, brain injuries, congenital conditions and a wide range of disabilities. Steph is also trained in Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES) technologies and specialised disability equipment.  

 

Steph has undergone additional professional development in Lower Back, Upper Limb and Lower Limb Injuries.  

 

Steph has developed a passion for a wide range of clientele from individuals with disabilities to elite athletes looking to improve their performance. She also has a special interest in young female athletes and the impact of menstruation on performance having competed in high level athletics from a young age herself.  

 

Outside of work, you will find Steph settling into Wagga life playing AFL, training at the gym or exploring the river with her partner and dog. Steph will always be a die-hard Queenslander but is thoroughly enjoying what NSW has to offer and looks forward to seeing you in the clinic soon!
